About the Role
CS is pursuing a contract for providing ongoing operational and strategic program support for the Center for Enterprise Human Resources Information Services (CEHRIS) within the Department of Veterans Affairs. This program supports and strengthens the VA’s Human Resources (HR) services by providing comprehensive, modernized, automated, and streamlined capabilities to support electronic records creation, information management, and data services throughout the employee lifecycle. CEHRIS supports customers throughout the VA by modernizing and standardizing human resources information services to support a world-class workforce with the sole purpose of supporting our Nation’s Veterans.
CS is seeking a SharePoint developer with a focus on human resources modernization and standardization.
The ideal candidate will apply their professional and technical experience to develop visually appealing and functional sites, pages, and web parts using SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 products. The candidate will have experience managing the design and development of technical applications using Microsoft’s SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 solutions through optimization and automation using the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Virtual Agent, etc.) and other Microsoft 365 applications, such as OneDrive, Teams, and Azure.
The ideal candidate will also be able to work alongside our clients to determine if related SharePoint processes are effective and efficient through research, data gathering, and analysis.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Ensure delivery and quality of solutions meet business requirements
Design and develop custom SharePoint sites, pages, libraries, lists, dashboards, forms, and complex automated tools and workflows
Manage SharePoint permissions
Integration support with other Microsoft 365 applications, such as OneDrive, Teams, and Azure
Support 508 compliance for all SharePoint pages and tools
Create and maintain required documentation
Provide expertise through optimization and automation using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Virtual Agent, etc.)
Develop graphic design solutions for customer facing SharePoint site design/branding
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Preferred)
At least 10 years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint preferably in the Federal agency environment
At least 2 years of experience in other Microsoft 365 applications, such as Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, etc.), OneDrive, Teams, Azure, preferably in the Federal agency environment
Demonstration of strong technical and communication skills
Understanding of rights, permissions, capabilities, and responsibilities of SharePoint users
Experience providing knowledge management support, including developing and maintaining documentation
Strong attention to detail with the ability to review own work and the work of others for accuracy
Ability to provide exceptional client service, research and resolve issues, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment with all levels of client and Consensus Solutions staff
Ability to pass a government clearance
Desired Qualifications (Not Required):
Understanding of legacy SharePoint systems
Experience in the application of SharePoint in the Federal agency environment
Experience in graphics design and branding
