About the Role
Consensus Solutions, LLC is looking for a Program Manager/Analyst to support the operations of a Department of Defense (DoD) client’s Small Business Office activities. Some travel may be required. We are seeking candidates who hold an active Department of Defense security clearance (e.g., Secret or Top Secret clearance). This position will be hybrid with weekly in-person requirements in Washington, DC. The anticipated start date is mid-to-late February of 2024.
Lead the project and project team; manage the day-to-day project activities.
Provide direct support to the Director and Deputy Director of the Small Business Office, to include strategic guidance and thought leadership in implementing visionary and innovative approaches to develop strategies to engage small businesses, build awareness of the Office’s offerings/services, and increase transparency with other buying commands.
Communicate effectively in written and oral formats to various situations and audiences, develop detailed briefings, presentations (PowerPoint), dashboards, reports, brochures, policies, procedures, and other communications as necessary.
Demonstrate forward thinking capabilities, identify risks/opportunities, and support the project team as we drive toward desired outcomes.
Support the documentation of capabilities needed to address business challenges.
Plan, organize, support, and assess specific outreach events.
Consolidate and analyze data to identify key trends, findings, strengths, and opportunities for performance improvements.
Evaluate program materials and develop innovative approaches for improvement.
Conduct assessments, analyses, and compliance reviews from a variety of sources, report on findings, and provide recommendations for new and updated policies and procedures.
Ensure delivery and quality of solutions to meet business requirements.
Provide support across the portfolio, program, and projects as needed, leveraging diverse skills and abilities to support process improvement, communications, data analysis, briefing development, facilitation, and other general management consulting skills
At least 8 years of experience in project management.
At least 4 years of experience supporting the federal government in a program/project management role, including providing direct client service and engagement.
Bachelor's Degree or higher.
Deep expertise in leading programs and projects.
Must have the ability to develop and lead briefings/reports as well as to collect and interpret data and analytics.
Demonstration of strong technical and executive level writing skills.
Must have the ability to communicate well orally and possess excellent writing skills to various levels of management and other stakeholders, including data presentations through charts, graphs, and MS PowerPoint.
Self-starter; able to work independently and within a team.
Flexibility and the ability to react to rapidly changing requirements.
Ability to think about projects holistically to identify next steps and courses of action that will support the client’s goals.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Proficient in the following MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project.

Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment with all levels of client and Consensus Solutions staff.
Local to the Washington, DC Metropolitan area with the ability to commute to and from Washington, DC.
Must possess at least a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
Preferred Additional Qualifications (not required):
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
Federal experience. DoD experience strongly preferred.
Experience supporting federal government small business programs.
